Adjust Unit Mounted Double Disk Fertilizer Opener
IMPORTANT: Verify fertilizer opener offset on every row before
operating the planter. Improperly placed fertilizer has the potential
to cause crop injury, depending on fertilizer product and application
rate. Discuss fertilizer placement with the fertilizer supplier to
determine the optimum offset for the rate and product applied.

Double-disk unit mounted openers perform in conventional,
reduced, and light no-till conditions but are not recommended for
double crop or tough no-till conditions. The double disk design limits
penetration in tough no-till or double crop conditions. Single disk
openers are better suited to no-till conditions.
