A - Adjusting Wrench
Avoid excessive wheel wear. Do not overtighten gauge wheel.When assembled, gauge wheels and disk blades must be free to
turn with minimal resistance.
To prevent buildup of soil or residue between gauge wheels and
opener blades, adjust gauge wheels.
Rotate gauge wheel. Verify that the wheel is lightly touching
disk or less than the maximum specification away from blades at their
closest approach.

To adjust gauge wheel, hold cap screw with one wrench and turn
adjustment nut with another wrench (A). To move wheel closer to blade,
turn nut counterclockwise. To move wheel away from blade, turn nut
clockwise.
Tighten wheel arm cap screw to specification.
