How to Use Liquid Fertilizer Rate Charts

1. IMPORTANT: A field check must be done to verify the application rate. (See CHECK FERTILIZER RATES in this section.)

   This system is NOT recommended for use with suspension fertilizers.

   NOTE: 1.2 mm yellow orifices and 1.7 mm black orifices are included with this system from the factory. For customers wanting to apply higher or lower application rates, two additional orifice sizes (0.7 mm green and 2.5 mm grey) are available through Service Parts.

   Refer to rate chart for the fertilizer opener installed on machine and select approximate application rate desired for row width being planted.

2. Pump range is given at top of Liquid Fertilizer Application Rate chart.

3. Set range of pump drive.

4. Next to approximate application rate selected, note pump setting, and travel speed.

5. Adjust pump to pump setting number.

6. Install recommended in-line orifice or nozzle (shown next to the rate on the rate chart).
