A - Reservoir

Drain the oil reservoir (A) annually. Open valve on bottom of reservoir, drain oil into a waste oil container, and dispose of oil properly.

Under certain conditions, the CCS™ fan motor allows a small amount of oil to leak past the motor shaft seal. This leakage is considered normal. Normal leakage of oil does not fill the reservoir (A) during a planting season. If reservoir fills completely, inspect the motor for seal failure. See your John Deere™ dealer.
