Changing Fertilizer In-Line Orifices

Remove In-Line Orifice

   A72735-UN-22SEP11

   A - Special Pliers

   B - In-Line Orifice

   C - Coupler

   D - Check Valve

   To remove orifice insert special pliers (A) as far as possible between in-line orifice (B) and coupler (C). Squeeze pliers to disengage coupler from in-line orifice.

2. Insert special pliers (A) as far as possible between in-line orifice (B) and check valve (D). Squeeze pliers to disengage in-line orifice from check valve.

3. Remove and retain in-line orifice (B) for future use.

4. Repeat on all fertilizer openers.

Install In-Line Orifice

1. NOTE: Consult your fertilizer rate charts to determine correct in-line orifice size for desired application rate.

   A - In-Line Orifice

   B - Check Valve

   C - Coupler

   Push in-line orifice (A) into check valve (B). Pull on in-line orifice to ensure it is locked into check valve.

2. Push coupler (C) onto in-line orifice (A). Pull on coupler to ensure it is locked onto the in-line orifice.

3. Repeat on all fertilizer openers.
