Remove and Install ExactEmerge™ Seed Meter

Remove ExactEmerge™ Seed Meter and Hopper

IMPORTANT: To avoid damage, use caution when removing seed meter from drive motors. Excessive force results in housing tab breaking off.

1.

   A - Delivery Hose

   B - Fill Neck

   C - Clip

   D - Latch

   E - Hook

   F - Vacuum Hose

   G - Housing Tab

   H - Bracket Base

   Rotate CCS™ seed delivery hose (A) counterclockwise until it unsnaps from hopper fill neck (B) and pull off hose.

2. Remove vacuum hose (F).

3. Push down on clip (C) while lifting on latch (D) to unlock seed meter from top area of BrushBelt™ delivery cartridge.

4. Remove hook (E) from slot in meter retaining tab.

5. Slowly remove seed meter coupler from drive motor shaft.

6. Remove housing tab (G) from bracket base (H).

Install ExactEmerge™ Seed Meter and Hopper

   K - Vacuum Hose

   Position housing tab (A) into bracket (B) of seed meter assembly (C).

2. NOTE: Turn drive shafts to align with couplers as needed.

   Align drive mount motor shaft (D) and seed meter coupler (E) being careful to align meter housing to BrushBelt™ delivery cartridge.

3. Position hook (F) through tab (G) on meter and top area (H) of BrushBelt™ delivery cartridge.

4. To retain position of seed meter assembly, fasten latch until clip snaps.

5. Push CCS™ seed delivery hose (I) onto hopper fill neck (J) and rotate clockwise until it snaps into place.

6. Install vacuum hose (K).
