B - Center Frame Service Lock

C - CCS™ Fan Switch

The CCS™ fan switch (C) allows the fan to operate while machine is in a raised position. Enabling the operator to clean out the CCS™ tanks and purge the hoses without climbing in and out of the tractor cab. The following procedure must be completed in the order given to avoid possible injury and machine damage.

  1. Raise machine.

  2. Place tractor in park and apply parking brake.

  3. Install wing and center frame service locks (B).

  4. Position (frame control box) PLANT-TRANS switch (A) in TRANS position.

  5. NOTE: With PLANT-TRANS switch in TRANS position, frame cannot lower.

NOTE: With frame in raised position, the CCS™ row unit switch disables CCS™ fan.

Place SCV lever into frame lower-detent position.

  6. If Purge-Plant switch is already in PLANT-TANK CLEANOUT position, it must remain in that position for tank cleanout.
