Change Double Eliminator and Baffle Brush

   Remove seed meter from row unit. (See Remove And Install ExactEmerge Seed Meter in Operating Machine section.)

2. Open vacuum meter. (See Access The Vacuum Meter in Operating Machine section.)

3. Remove seed disk. (See Remove Seed Disk in Operating Machine section.)

4. Inspect brushes for wear and replace as needed.

5. NOTE: Mini-Hopper has been removed from back of meter housing to see inner eliminator brush tabs.

   To remove and replace inner double eliminator brush assembly (A):

   • Reach fingers inside hopper opening (B).
   • Squeeze tabs (C) to unlock position.
   • Pull out brush assembly.
   • Replace brush assembly by installing tabs into housing holes (D).
   • Repeat steps on each seed meter as needed.

   B - Set Screw

   C - Torque Screw

   D - Slot

   E - Housing Post

   F - Slot

   G - Housing Notch

   To remove and replace outer double eliminator brush assembly (A):
   • Loosen set screw (B).
   • Loosen torque screw (C).
   • Pull out brush assembly.
   • Align slot (D) with housing post (E) and align slot (F) with housing notch (G). To install, push replacement brush down into meter housing.
   • To retain brush position, tighten set screw (B) and torque screw (C).
   • Repeat steps on each seed meter as needed.

   To remove and replace baffle brush (A):
   • Gently pull baffle brush (A) from baffle (B).
   • Press replacement brush into baffle.
   • Repeat steps on each seed meter as needed.
