Rigid Scraper

IMPORTANT: Avoid disk wear, only use scraper in moist and sticky soil conditions. Remove in all other conditions.

A - Rigid Scraper

Inspect scraper insert for wear at beginning of season and periodically during season.

To install rigid scraper, use the following steps: (Repeat on both sides of each row unit.)

• Install rigid scraper (A) into holes on shank.
• Place leaf spring (B) over the top of rigid scraper. Align upper tab with hole in shank.
• Place spring backing plate (C) over the top of leaf spring. Align upper tab with hole in shank over the top of leaf spring tab.
• Insert and tighten cap screw (D) through spring backing plate and leaf spring into shank hole as shown.
