Rear Wheel Bearing Maintenance
IMPORTANT: Grease is used to lubricate rear wheel bearings.
Recommended maintenance for grease lubricated wheel bearings is to
repack annually, using John Deere Multi-purpose High Temperature EP
Grease (TY 6341). The use of a special tool (John Deere
JDG1228) is required to disassemble wheel hubs for repacking. Therefore,
it is strongly recommended that this service procedure be done by
your John Deere dealer.
