Detach Seeding Tool From Tow-Between Cart

  1. CAUTION: To help prevent personal injury caused by unexpected movement of the machine:

    • Park machine on level surface.
    • Block seeding tool tires.
    • Lower seeding tool to the ground.
    • Before removing hitch pin, verify that no upward force exists at hitch connection.

    A - Air Hose Connectors

    Open clips to disconnect air hose connectors (A). Install coupler cover plates. If cover plates are not available, plug tubes with rags to keep out debris and rodents.

    B - Remote Seeder Switch Connector

    Disconnect solenoid lock and remote seeder harnesses from connectors (A) and (B) (if equipped).



  3. CAUTION: Avoid serious personal injury. DO NOT attempt to disconnect hydraulic hoses under pressure. Refer to tractor Operators manual for SCV operation to relieve hydraulic line pressure before removing hoses.

    H - SeedStar™ Monitor Connector

    I - Warning Light Harness Connector

    Disconnect depth control and wing-fold hoses from hydraulic couplers.



  4. Disconnect warning light cable from plug.

  5. If equipped with Blockage Monitor: Disconnect communications cable.

    Place hoses and warning light plug-in storage position on hitch.



  7. Lower hitch jack and remove weight from tongue.

    Remove hitch pin (A) and safety chain (B).



  9. Drive tractor and air cart away from seeding tool.
