Attach Seeding Tool to Tow-Between Cart

Use a signal person to direct tractor and seed cart movement. Seed cart blocks tractor operator's view of seeding tool hitch point. Know hand signals and what each signal means before moving. Move slowly and follow signal person's directions to avoid a crushing accident which could cause severe injury or death to someone. Do not stand between air cart and implement while cart and tractor are in motion.

  1. Align hitch and attach with pin (A).

    B - Remote Seeder Switch Connector

    Connect solenoid lock and remote seeder harnesses to connectors (A) and (B) (if equipped).


  3. CAUTION: Relieve hydraulic pressure before connection.

    NOTE: Extend and Retract symbols are on SCV cover.

  4. NOTE: Keep electrical connections clean from corrosion and debris for proper lighting operation.

    Connect harnesses to light connector (I) and SeedStar™ connector (H) (if equipped).

    A - Hose Connectors

    Remove coupler cover plates and any debris from tubes before making connections. Attach seed cart hose connectors (A) to seeding tool with clips.


1 Always connect case drain hose first.
2 If equipped, TouchSet™ does not function if hose connections are incorrect.
