Operational Checklist

Before operation:

IMPORTANT: Fan motor must be shut off by moving SCV lever to “Float” position. Moving SCV lever into “Neutral” detent can cause fan motor damage.

□  Correctly attach hydraulic hoses to tractor, tillage, or cart. Verify that motor case drain hose is connected to low pressure (under 172 kPa [1.72 bar] [25 psi]) return port and not crimped.

□  Check power beyond pressure, return and load sense hoses for proper connection.

□  Remove obstructions from meter inlet openings inside tank before filling.

□  Close and lock tank lids to prevent air loss.

□  Return and lock auger in storage position. Return selector valve to “Fan” setting.

□  Turn off fill lights.

□  Position slide on stationary double-shoot manifold in proper position. Verify that handle is trapped between latch pin and bracket.

□  Adjust fan speed for desired application rate. Clean fan screen. Adjust damper position, if double-shooting.

□  Inflate tires to proper pressure.

□  Thoroughly clean product residue from meter segment flutes.

□  Verify that meter cartridge locks are adjusted correctly.

□  Check position of half-width disconnects.

□  Check and, if necessary, reset monitor and controller system with latest information. Check operation of remote tillage and implement switch.

□  Perform rate check and adjust accordingly.
