Open or Close Product Runs

NOTE: The following procedure is an adjustment for a 1910 Air Cart. To match air cart to seeding tool perform the following procedure and adjust meter cartridge to seeding tool output.

1. IMPORTANT: Double-Shoot Manifold must have the same number of runs on the top and bottom. (For every top run there must be a bottom run directly underneath.)

   A - Tube, Seal, and Clamp

   B - Barbed Fitting

   C - Cap and Clamp

   Remove existing parts (A) from desired row. If row has a barbed fitting (B), move barbed fitting and hose to another run where air flow is allowed to pass.

2. Install provided cap and previously removed clamp (C).

3. Repeat for other rows that need blocked off.

4. Install cap on primary between cart and implement.

5. Secure cap with hose clamp.

6. NOTE: Air carts with 3 m (9 ft. 10 in.) tire spacing. Rotate lock handle to clear tire.

   Disconnect gate detection sensor (if equipped).

7. Release lock handle (C) from lock plate (D) by turning handle clockwise.

8. Rotate cam lock handle (A) up. To disengage cam (B) from cartridge handle (E), pull handle toward front of machine.

9. Turn cartridge (F) counterclockwise to release handle (E) from lock plate (G).

10. Pull meter assembly from housing.

11. NOTE: Install or engage agitators on active runs. Deactivate agitators on inactive runs.

    Install (snap) meter covers (A) into enclosure openings.

12. Install meter seals (B) between meter cartridge and manifold plate.

13. Install meter in reverse order.
