Determine Tractor Requirements

There are three steps to determine if the tractor is compatible with the chosen 1910 Cart and Seeding Tool.

1. Tractor Power—Can the tractor pull this combination in the field?

   To determine tractor power requirements (Refer to DETERMINE TRACTOR POWER REQUIREMENTS in this section.)

2. Tractor Weight—Does the tractor weigh enough to tow the combination on the road safely?

   To determine minimum tractor weight (Refer to CALCULATE MAXIMUM COMMODITY WEIGHT FOR ROAD TRANSPORT in this section.)

3. Tractor Hydraulics—Can tractor operate cart fan, active hydraulic downforce, and hydraulic drives?

   To determine tractor power requirements (Refer to DETERMINE TRACTOR HYDRAULIC REQUIREMENTS in this section.)
