Tank Open Indicator Gauge

IMPORTANT: Do not seed with gauge in the red zones (A, E).

IMPORTANT: If gauge is in the green zone (C) the tanks are sealed and operating correctly. It does not indicate the air seeder is seeding correctly. Check meter calibration and settings before seeding.

IMPORTANT: Gauge is accurate when operating properly. If air supply hose to gauge is cut or plugged, gauge can read inaccurately. Service gauge daily when using fine materials like fertilizer. (See Service Section)

NOTE: When the fan is “Off” and gauge is in the vertical position, use the adjusting screw on the face of the gauge to set the indicating pointer exactly on zero.

B - Lid Open (Orange Zone)

C - Green Zone

D - Check Gauge (Orange Zone)

E - Check Gauge (Red Zone)

• There is seed in the tank
• Not seeding in the field
• Half-width disconnect handles down

Gauge reading to the (-), lid open. (A) or (B) indicates a danger of skips while seeding.

Gauge reading to the (+), check gauge. (D) or (E) indicates a danger of over-seeding.
