Changing Transmission/Hydraulic Oil (Tractors with AutoPowr)

1. Start engine and operate several hydraulic functions to heat up oil.

2. Park tractor so that it is level. Lower draft links and front-mounted implements.

3. Stop the engine and remove the key.

4. Apply handbrake (transmission in neutral).

5. Remove drain screws (A).

6. Replace transmission/hydraulic oil filter elements (B).

7. Before refilling with fresh oil, replace seals and tighten drain screws to 50 N·m (35 lb-ft).

8. Add transmission/hydraulic oil to the transmission case.

6520 and 6620 tractors... 60 Liter (15.9 U.S. gal.)
6820, 6920 and 6920S tractors... 66 Liter (17.4 U.S. gal.)
Extra with additional oil reservoir... 12 Liter (3.2 U.S. gal.)

 

Run engine briefly and operate hydraulic functions. Shut off the engine.

Wait for between 10 and 15 minutes before checking the oil level. It should be between the marks on the dipstick or sight-glass. If not, correct oil level.
