Operating Instructions
As far as possible, angles (a) and (b) at the universal joints should be the same at both ends of the drive shaft.
In applications where this is frequently not the case (e.g. lots of sharp turns), it is recommended to use a continuous-velocity drive shaft.
NOTE:
The two schematic drawings do not show any guards on the drive shaft. A guard is mandatory when using drive shafts.
IMPORTANT:
When using drive shafts of the "plug-in" type, the forks on either end of the intermediate shaft must be aligned in the same plane.
