Indicator lights

1-This light comes on when the differential lock is engaged.

2-This light comes on when front-wheel drive is selected.

3-This light comes on when the rear PTO is selected.

4-This warning light glows when transmission/hydraulic oil temperature is too high.

5-If this warning light glows, transmission/hydraulic oil pressure is too low. See your John Deere dealer.

6-If engine oil pressure warning light glows with engine running, shut off engine and check the level of engine oil.

7-The full beam indicator light will glow whenever the headlights are switched on at full beam.

8-If alternator indicator light glows with engine running, this indicates a defect at alternator. Check alternator cables. If necessary, have alternator checked by your John Deere dealer.

9-If air cleaner indicator light glows with engine running, the air cleaner element must be cleaned or replaced.

10-This light glows when the transmission oil filter is clogged or the oil temperature is too low.

11-This light comes on when the work lights are selected.

Bulb test: As the engine is started, indicator lights 4, 5, 6, 9 and 10 should glow for approx. 1 second. If this is not the case, a defective bulb or blown fuse may be the cause. Check and replace parts as necessary.

The indicator lights should go out as soon as the engine is running.

11 (flashing) blocks = coolant is too hot. Reduce load on engine or shift to a lower gear.

12 (flashing) blocks = coolant is very hot. Shut off the engine and rectify the cause of the overheating (coolant level too low, dirty radiator or clogged screen).

If none of the blocks appear on the display and icon (B) is flashing, then the temperature sensor is defective.
