JD IVT -Starting in Cold Weather

To avoid damaging the sub-assemblies at temperatures below freezing point, an automatic function prevents the drive system from engaging too early. Once the engine has started, diagnostic trouble code UIC 305057.01 (INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: Transmission Warm-up Routine is Active) is displayed.

The warm-up routine can only be started if the reverse drive lever is in the "park" position. If the reverse drive lever is in any position other than corner park, code UIC 305058.01 (INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: Transmission Warm-up Routine Cannot be Activated, Park Lock should be Engaged) is displayed.

The time required for the transmission to warm up will vary depending on temperature (several minutes).
