Tighten Front Wheel Attaching Nuts

After adjusting front wheel tread, tighten front wheel attaching nuts (A) and nuts (B).

Torque for nuts (A)
6510 to 6810 tractors... 300 N·m (220 lb-ft)
6910 and 6910S tractors... 480 N·m (355 lb-ft)
   

 

Torque for nuts (B)
Grade 8.8 bolts... 250 N·m (185 lb-ft)
Grade 10.9 bolts... 310 N·m (230 lb-ft)

 

IMPORTANT: After adjusting wheel tread, retighten all front wheel attaching nuts after 4 and 8 hours of operation. Check tightness of these nuts frequently during the next 100 hours of operation.
