Checking Transmission/Hydraulic System Oil Level

IMPORTANT: Check oil level when oil is cold, if possible in the morning after the tractor has been standing overnight.

On tractors with AutoPowr, wait 10-15 minutes after opening the bleed valve before you check the oil level.

1. Park tractor so that it is level.

2. Apply handbrake (transmission in neutral, or in "P" position if equipped with AutoPowr).

3. Lower draft links and front-mounted implements.

4. On tractors with AutoPowr, tighten bleed valve (A) by at least 2 turns. Wait 10-15 minutes before continuing with the next steps.

Unscrew dipstick (A), pull it out and wipe it clean.

6. Screw in dipstick fully, pull it out again and check the oil level. Oil level should be between the marks on the dipstick. If it is not, top up with oil at the oil filler neck.

On tractors equipped with AutoPowr, remember to close the bleed screw tightly.
