Changing Transmission/Hydraulic Oil (Tractors with AutoPowr)

1. Start engine and operate several hydraulic functions to heat up oil.

2. Park tractor so that it is level. Lower draft links and front-mounted implements.

3. Turn off engine and remove key.

4. Apply handbrake (transmission in "P").

5. Remove drain screws (A).

6. Replace transmission/hydraulic oil filter element (B).

7. Add transmission/hydraulic oil to the transmission case.

6810, 6910 and 6910S tractors...

60 liters (15.9 U.S. gal.)
66 liters (17.4 U.S. gal.)
10 liters (2.6 U.S. gal.)

 

Run engine briefly and operate hydraulic functions. Shut off the engine.

Tighten bleed valve (C) by at least 2 turns. Wait for between 10 and 15 minutes before checking the oil level. It should be between the marks on the dipstick or sight-glass. If not, correct oil level. Remember to close the bleed valve tightly.

Additional work on tractors with hydraulic trailer brakes

1. Disconnect hydraulic line (A) from fitting (B).

2. Loosen fitting (B) and turn it to one side.

3. Remove screen (C) from hydraulic line (A) and wash it in fuel.

4. Insert screen (C) and attach hydraulic line (A).

5. Tighten hydraulic line (A) and fitting (B).
