Cleaning the Dust Unloading Valve or Dust Trap (If Equipped)

IMPORTANT: Never run the engine while the dust unloading valve or dust trap is removed!

Remove dust deposits by squeezing the valve.

During the harvest, grass and chaff may adversely affect the performance of the dust unloading valve. Remove and clean the dust unloading valve as necessary. Replace any damaged valve immediately.

NOTE: Under dusty conditions, the dust unloading valve should be cleaned every day.

Clean out the dust trap as necessary. Do not let dust accumulate after the trap has become full to the "MAX" level.

Open catches (A) and clean out the dust trap.

Re-install the dust trap and close the catches.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the dust trap is seated correctly.
