Air Conditioning System Not Cooling Correctly

NOTE: The cooling capacity of air conditioning system should be checked by your John Deere Dealer.

1. Run engine at 2000 rpm.

2. Switch blower motor to maximum speed.

3. Switch air conditioning to maximum.

4. Measure the ambient temperature (in the shade).

5. Measure the temperature of the cooling air at louvers.

6. After 15 minutes of operation the difference between both temperatures should reach approximately 16 °C (61 °F).

NOTE: Keep doors and windows closed during this test. The result of this test may vary depending on the humidity.

If check is OK , no service is required.

If check is Not OK :

  • Clean radiator screens
  • Check sight glas in drier (see arrow) for bubbles. If there are bubbles, the system may be low on refrigerant.

See your John Deere dealer.
