Select Rear PTO Speed

CAUTION: Before engaging the PTO, make sure that selected PTO speed is correct for the implement attached. Incorrect speed could result in severe damage to the implement.

Danger of accidents!

The PTO is engaged and disengaged as described under "Operating Power Take-Offs". The PTO must be disengaged to select PTO speed.

PTO speed is selected by means of lever (A) as shown on decal (B). With the lever in the position(s) "N", the PTO shaft can be turned by hand to facilitate drive shaft connection.

CAUTION: The engine must be shut off when an implement is being connected.

The selected PTO speed is indicated by lights (C).

NOTE: Depending on tractor model, the shift pattern (shown on decal) as well as the arrangement of the lights can vary.
