Tow Hitch (Piton Fix/Ball-Type)

Tow hitch (piton fix)
To attach a trailer or trailed implement, pull out pin (A). Retainer (B) is forced upwards by a spring. Once the trailer or trailed implement has been attached, press retainer (B) down and secure it with pin (A).

Replacing with a swinging drawbar
The piton fix tow-hitch or ball-type tow-hitch can easily be removed, e.g. to allow the installation of a swinging drawbar. Take out locking pin (A), then take out retaining pin (B) and pull the carrier (C) out to the rear.
