Select Correct Ground Travel Speed
Number of gears on tractors with:
The tractor may be equipped with a reduction gear, offering
a further 16 gears.
Ground travel speeds are identical regardless of which of the
two transmissions is equipped.
Gears should be selected so as to avoid prolonged overloading
of the engine. Ground travel speeds with engine running at rated speed
are shown in the following table.
