A - Bleed screw

B - Drain screw

D - Fuel tank drain plug

If water or sediment deposits have settled in filter, proceed as follows:

1. Open bleed screw (A).

2. Open drain screw (B) by 3/4 of a turn. Retighten the screw as soon as water and sediment deposits have drained out.

3. Open drain screw (C) by 3/4 of a turn. Retighten the screw as soon as water and sediment deposits have drained out.

4. Tighten bleed screw (A).

5. Turn key in main switch to the right to the first switch position so that the fuel transfer pump is operating. Keep the pump running for approx. 40 seconds.

If water was present in fuel filter, use a 1/2-inch square-section key to loosen drain plug (D) under the fuel tank by one turn. After draining off any water deposits, retighten drain screw until it is hand-tight.
