1-The red STOP light flashes when a serious malfunction occurs.
Shut off the engine IMMEDIATELY and determine the cause.
2-The yellow CAUTION light flashes when a malfunction occurs.
3-This light comes on when the differential lock is engaged.
4-The flashing indicator light for tractor starts flashing when
turn-signal or hazard warning lights are switched on.
5-The flashing indicator lights for trailer start flashing when
turn-signal or hazard warning lights are switched on.
6-The high beam indicator light will glow whenever the headlights
are switched on at high beam.
7-This light comes on when the rear PTO is selected.
8-This light comes on when front-wheel drive is selected.
9-This light comes on when the park brake is applied.
10-This light glows when there is a fault in the transmission.
11-This light comes on if there is a malfunction at the 3-point
hitch.
12-This light comes on if there is an engine fault.
13-If alternator indicator light glows with engine running,
this indicates a defect at alternator. Check alternator cables. If
necessary, have the alternator checked by your John Deere dealer.
14-If air cleaner indicator light glows with engine running,
the air cleaner element must be cleaned or replaced.
15-This light comes on as soon as the reverser lever is moved
to neutral. It flashes if a malfunction at the transmission causes
the clutch to separate. In this case, move the reverser lever to neutral
and wait until the N stops flashing and remains on continuously.
Bulb test: As the engine is started, all the lights should glow
for approx. 1 second. If not, a blown fuse may be the cause. Check
and replace parts as necessary.
Fuel gauge

The fuel gauge shows the amount of fuel in the tank, from full
to empty (end of red). When the indicator needle enters the red, there
are still approx. 35 liters (9.2 U.S. gal.) remaining.
NOTE: Never run the tank completely dry, otherwise you will
have to bleed the fuel system.
Coolant temperature gauge

If the coolant gauge needle moves into the red (A), the engine
is overheating. Immediately reduce load or shift to a lower gear.
If the needle remains in the red, shut off engine and determine cause
of overheating (coolant level low, dirty radiator or dirty radiator
screen).
