A - Button or Softkey for AUTO Operating Modes
B - Button or Softkey for MAX Operating Modes
C - Button or Softkey for MAN Operating Modes
CAUTION: When the engine is started and when a different suspension
setting is selected, the front axle may move briefly, even if the
tractor is stationary. Make sure everyone is clear of the area of
potential danger.
IMPORTANT: If faults occur in the regulating system, a message
appears at the CommandCenter™. In this case operation of the
suspension system is impaired or the system does not operate at all.
Drive slowly so as not to inhibit safety or damage components. See
your John Deere™ dealer immediately.
NOTE: The CommandCenter™ may be operated via the control
panel or touchscreen (depending on equipment).
Press button (1) and access the menu. Actuate softkey (2) and
access the TLS page. Settings on the TLS page may be selected using
the buttons or softkeys (A), (B) or (C).
NOTE: Check box (3) indicates which mode is activated.
AUTO setting
If AUTO is selected, suspension reacts
automatically in response to conditions. Travel speed, surface characteristics,
tractor load and heavy implements at the rear are all taken into account.
The best possible comfort is achieved. Front axle suspension becomes
active whenever the tractor's speed exceeds 1.5 km/h (0.9 mph).
MAX setting
If MAX is selected, suspension is
set to maximum hardness (e.g. for operation with a front loader).
Front axle suspension becomes active whenever the tractor's speed
exceeds 1.5 km/h (0.9 mph), and there is a delay in control when pulling
away from stationary: control does not become active until the tractor
has moved 5 m (16 ft.). When the speed exceeds 35 km/h (22 mph), the
hardness of the suspension is reduced below MAX to provide more comfort.
When speed drops below 25 km/h (15 mph) again, the MAX setting is
re-activated.

F - Hot Key F
G - Hot Key G
NOTE: MAN appears on the display only as an icon.
If MAN is selected, the axle settles
in its mid-position. Thereafter, the front of the tractor can be raised
and lowered manually (e.g. to facilitate the attachment of mounted
implements). As soon as the axle icon is displayed, press hot keys
(F) or (G). (F) raises the front of the tractor, (G) lowers the front
of the tractor. Bar graph (4) shows the current position. To exit
this TLS page, press button or softkey for CommandCenter™ menu
or CommandCenter™ home page. As speed rises above 1.5 km/h (0.9
mph), the axle settles in its mid-position.
The manual setting is overridden as soon as travel speed exceeds
5 km/h (3 mph). The system returns to its previous setting (AUTO or MAX).
