Within the First 100 Hours of Operation

Wheel bolts

Check torque at wheel retaining bolts frequently.

Engine oil

For the correct use of engine oil, see Section 80, FUEL, LUBRICANTS, HYDRAULIC OIL AND COOLANT.

After an engine overhaul and when using breaking-in oil, the first oil and filter change should take place after the first 100 hours of operation at the earliest. However, break-in oil and oil filters must be changed after 500 hours of operation at the latest. Use an engine oil that complies with the specification, e.g. John Deere Plus-50™ II. After that, the prescribed oil change interval is 500 hours.

NOTE: On new tractors, there is no need to change the oil until 500 operating hours have elapsed.
