2 - Up Arrow Button
3 - Down Arrow Button
4 - Menu Button
A - Box for Forward/Reverse Ratio
B - Softshift Check Box
C - PTO Operation Check Box
D - Speed Matching Check Box
A — Select the forward/reverse ratio
The ratio can be varied between +3 and -3; this can be done
at the digital display.
To do this, press menu button (4) until the transmission menu
page appears.
Press confirm button (1) and select the desired ratio in box
(A) using arrow button (2) or (3).
Save selection using the confirm button.
To exit press menu button (4).
NOTE: When automatic gear shifting is activated, a set maximum
gear takes priority over the selected relationship.
B — Softshift when changing gears
If this option is activated, engine speed is matched temporarily
by the electronics to achieve a smoother shift.
Activate or deactivate softshift (B) as follows:
To do this, press menu button (4) until the transmission menu
page appears. Press arrow button (3) and then press confirm button
(1). Activate or deactivate check box (B) using arrow buttons (2)
or (3). Save selection using the confirm button.
If desired, activate or deactivate PTO operation (C) as follows:
Press confirm button (1) and activate or deactivate check box
(C) using arrow buttons (2) or (3). Save selection using the confirm
button.
To exit press menu button (4).
Engine speed can then be matched in the following ways:
-
Switched off all the time, if (B) is not activated
-
Switched on, but off for PTO operation if only (B) is activated
-
Switched on all the time, if (B) and (C) are activated
D — Speed matching when changing ranges
If this option is activated, when changing ranges at travel
speeds at or above approx. 7 km/h (4.4 mph), the transmission is automatically
shifted into a gear that matches the travel speed. This automatic
function can be overridden by pressing a gear shift switch during
the change of range.
Activate or deactivate speed matching (D) as follows:
To do this, press menu button (4) until the transmission menu
page appears. Press arrow button (3) and select check box (D) using
confirm button (1). Activate or deactivate check box (D) using arrow
button (2) or (3). Save selection using the confirm button.
To exit press menu button (4).
E — Cruise control potentiometer

LX1056715-UN-13JUL12
E - Cruise Control Potentiometer
F - Automatic Gear Shifting Potentiometer
Maximum engine speed can be limited for PTO operation using
potentiometer (E). Move the hand throttle lever to full throttle,
then reduce engine speed using potentiometer (E).
In the lowest setting, engine speed is limited to 1050 rpm.
In the highest setting, the engine can run at maximum speed. Individual
engine speed limits can be set between these two positions. If no
PTO operation is taking place, potentiometer (E) should be in its
maximum speed position or in the “Off” position.
F — Automatic gear shifting potentiometer
Different operating modes can be set with potentiometer (F).
IMPORTANT: “Eco mode” is suitable ONLY for light
work in the field and for driving on roads when the load being pulled
is not heavy.
Eco mode: Hand throttle / accelerator
pedal more than 85% towards top speed and engine running at above
1872 rpm: Transmission shifts up. Hand/Foot throttle more
than 55% towards top speed and engine running at under 1300 rpm: Transmission
shifts down. Hand/Foot throttle less than 55% towards top
speed and engine running at under 1100 rpm: Transmission shifts down.
Power mode: Hand/Foot throttle more
than 85% towards top speed and engine running at under 2280 rpm: Transmission
shifts up. Hand/Foot throttle more than 55% towards top speed
and engine running at under 1720 rpm: Transmission shifts down. Hand/Foot throttle less than 55% towards top speed and engine running
at under 1100 rpm: Transmission shifts down.
Intermediate settings: The engine
speeds at which the transmission shifts can be customized with potentiometer
(F) to change the shift point to an intermediate level between Eco
mode and Power mode.
