Changing Activated Carbon Filters

NOTE: This service procedure only applies when the cab of the tractor has been retrofitted with John Deere™ activated carbon filters.

Change activated carbon filter after 500 operating hours or once every year at the latest. Heavy-duty operation may require shorter service intervals. Therefore the condition of the filter elements have to be checked regularly. Activated carbon filters may NOT be cleaned (e.g. with compressed air), but have to be replaced with new filter inserts immediately if they start getting less effective.

Used filters have to be disposed of in accordance with the regional regulations.
