TIA™ - Tractor-Implement Automation, Safety
Tractor Implement Automation (TIA™) is a system
for automating control of the implement.
CAUTION: The operator of the tractor is responsible for the
Tractor-Implement Automation (TIA™) being used safely.
CAUTION: Although the phrases transfer control and withdraw control are commonly used
with TIA™ equipment, at NO time is implement
in total control of an operation. The operator
can take control of the automated functions AT
ANY TIME.
It is operator's responsibility to make sure implement operation
does not pose a danger to the operator or others close by, and does
not damage equipment.
When driving on public roads or when other persons are close,
no automated functions that represent a danger may be used.
For ISOBUS-compliant tractors, TIA™-compatible implements
approved by John Deere have the ability to control certain individual
tractor functions.
Address any questions about TIA™-compatible implements
you have to your John Deere™ dealer. See implement Operator's
Manual for implement operating procedures.
