A greater transport clearance is obtained by shortening the links. Extra operating depth is obtained by lengthening the links.

To level implement from side-to-side, adjust link using handle (A). Do this by lifting handle (A) out of lock (B) and setting the lift link to the length desired. After adjustment is completed, push handle (A) down and secure it with lock (B).

To adjust left lift link:

• If equipped with an adjusting handle, proceed in the same way as for the right link.
• If not equipped with an adjusting handle, remove the lift link from the draft link and screw yoke end (C) of lift link in or out.

Length (D) of links must be kept within the limits stated. A groove in the thread of each lift link indicates the maximum permitted setting. The threads must not be unscrewed any further out of the receiver.

• Minimum length 940 mm (37 in.)
• Maximum length 1120 mm (44 in.)

NOTE: The lift link dimensions quoted above are with lift links locked in draft links (no vertical float).

NOTE: Short lift links provide a short lifting height and maximum lifting force.

Long lift links provide a long lifting height and less lifting force.

IMPORTANT: When engaging the lift links in the lift arms, make sure that stops (E) are always at the rear as shown.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT let the draft links or lift links come into contact with the tires or other tractor components. The gap between lift links and tires can be increased by installing the lift links in the front holes of the draft links.

When draft links are raised (even if no implement is attached), the stabilizer bars, whether hydraulic or mechanical, must be locked.
