  • Engine - Remove any dirt from area surrounding the engine
  • Cooling system/air-conditioning system - Clean the radiator and condenser, fins and screens
  • Fuel tank - Drain water and residues
  • Retrieve the diagnostic trouble codes, rectify errors, and then delete the diagnostic trouble codes
  • Check the movement inhibitor
  • PTO actuation - Check safety device
  • Fuse box - Visually inspect and clean
  • Lights - Check that all lights and headlights are functioning properly
  • Lights - Check settings of headlights
  • Check that all accessible ground cables are secure
  • Adjustable front axle - Tighten axle bolts
  • Wheels - Front and rear wheels, check torques of attaching screws
  • Wheels - Wheel disk to rim, check torques of attaching screws
  • Wheels - Wheel weights, check torques of attaching screws
  • Wheels - Dual wheel attachment, check torques of attaching screws
  • Drawbar - Check torques of attaching screws
  • John Deere™ front loader mounting frame - Check torques of attaching screws (see operator's manual and installation instructions of the front loader)
  • Change fuel filter
  • Change the engine oil filter
  • Change engine oil
  • Change hydraulic filter
  • Change transmission oil filter *
  • Front-wheel drive axle - Final drives with brake, oil change
  • Cab - Activated carbon filter (if equipped) **
  • Cab suspension - Have accumulator charged by an authorized dealer
  • Engine - Check drive belt for wear (rubbing)
  • Cooling system - Coolant level
  • Check air intake hoses for leaks
  • Front-wheel drive axle - Final drives without brake, oil level
  • Front-wheel drive axle - Axle housing, oil level
  • Transmission/Hydraulic system - Oil level
  • Check leak oil tanks (if equipped)
  • Brake system - Bleed and check
  • Foot brake - Operational check
  • Cab - Check all rubber seals of the doors and windows as well as the cable feedthroughs for proper seating, wear, and brittleness.
  • Cab - Check function of all closing mechanisms of the doors and windows.
  • Check all trailer hitches for wear; check that all trailer hitches function properly
  • Park lock - Operational check
  • Adjustable front axle - Lubricate the grease fittings
  • Front-wheel drive axle - Lubricate pivot bearing
  • Front-wheel drive axle - Lubricate all universal joints including universal-jointed shaft from transmission to front-wheel drive axle
  • Suspended front-wheel drive axle - Lubricate hydraulic cylinder
  • Lubricate pivoting fenders
  • Universal-jointed shaft between engine and transmission (if equipped) - Lubricate all U-joints
  • Cab suspension - Lubricate the lubrication points
  • Three-point hitch - Lubricate lift links and rockshaft
  • Lubricate the rear axle bearings (if equipped)
  • Lubricate the draft link bearings (if equipped)
  • Rear PTO - Lubricate PTO stub shaft support (with turnable PTO stub shaft)
