RTP - Front Loader with Return-to-Position Function

Description

The return-to-position function is an automatic function for the front loader. This enables two ranges of setpoints to be established, each with upper and lower setpoints, to which the boom and bucket can move automatically. Briefly moving the multi-function lever in the desired direction (beyond the point of perceptible resistance) initiates the automatic movement of the boom or bucket to the relevant setpoint.

In addition, a frequently used angle for the bucket may be stored as a zero position. This position is then displayed on the return-to-Position page as 0°. Any change in bucket position is displayed in degrees (e.g. +20° or -35°) relative to the stored 0° value. To bring the bucket back to the zero position, the multi-function lever must be moved until "0°" appears on the CommandCenter™ again. The automatic return-to-position function is active only at travel speeds up to 16 km/h max.

NOTE: If the front loader is replaced with a front loader with the return-to-position function, then functional errors can be expected. To ensure the fault-free function, an adjustment or calibration of the components becomes necessary after attaching a different front loader. See your John Deere dealer for this.
