D - Input Area for Speed Matching
A — Select the forward/reverse ratio
A ratio in the range between +3 and -3 can be selected in the
digital display.
To set, select input area (A) and press confirm button (1).
Use the arrow buttons (2) or (3) to select the desired ratio.
Save selection using the confirm button.
To exit, press menu button (4).
NOTE: When automatic gear shifting is activated, a set maximum
gear takes priority over the selected ratio.
B — SoftShift when changing gears
If SoftShift (B) is active, engine speed is altered temporarily
by the electronics to achieve a smoother shift.
The following selections are available:
|
SoftShift
|
Speed matching when shifting
|
|
ON
|
- always active
|
|
Off
|
- not active
|
|
Auto
|
- active if PTO is off
- not active if PTO is on

To set, select input area (B) and press confirm button (1).
Use arrow button (2) or (3) to select input area (B) and select
the desired setting.
Save selection using the confirm button.
To exit, press menu button (4).
D — Speed matching when changing ranges
If speed matching is active, when changing ranges at travel
speeds at or above approx. 7 km/h (4.4 mph), the transmission is automatically
shifted into a gear that matches the travel speed. This automatic
function can be overridden by pressing a gear-shift button during
the range change.
To activate or deactivate, select the check box (D) and press
the confirm button (1).
With arrow buttons (2) or (3), activate or deactivate speed
matching (D).
Save selection using the confirm button.
To exit, press menu button (4).
E — Cruise control potentiometer (FieldCruise™)

LX1056715-UN-13JUL12
E - Cruise Control Potentiometer
F - Automatic Gear Shifting Potentiometer
Maximum engine speed can be limited for PTO operation using
potentiometer (E). Move the hand throttle lever to full throttle,
then reduce engine speed using potentiometer (E).
In the lowest setting, engine speed is limited to 1050 rpm.
In the highest setting, the engine can run at maximum speed. Individual
engine speed limits can be set between these two positions. If no
PTO operation is taking place, potentiometer (E) should be in its
maximum speed position or in the “Off” position.
F — Automatic gear shifting potentiometer
Different operating modes can be set with potentiometer (F).
IMPORTANT: “Eco mode” is suitable ONLY for light
work in the field and for driving on roads when the load being pulled
is not heavy.
Eco mode: Hand throttle/Accelerator
pedal more than 85% towards top speed and engine running at above
1870 rpm: transmission shifts up. Hand throttle/Accelerator
pedal more than 55% towards top speed and engine running at below
1300 rpm: transmission shifts down. Hand throttle/Accelerator
pedal less than 55% towards top speed and engine running at under
1100 rpm: transmission shifts down.
Power mode: Hand throttle/Accelerator
pedal more than 85% towards top speed and engine running at above
2100 rpm: transmission shifts up. Hand throttle/Accelerator
pedal more than 55% towards top speed and engine running at below
1720 rpm: transmission shifts down. Hand throttle/Accelerator
pedal less than 55% towards top speed and engine running at under
1100 rpm: transmission shifts down.
Intermediate settings: The engine
speeds at which the transmission shifts can be customized at potentiometer
(F) to change the shift point to an intermediate level between Eco
mode and Power mode.
