Transmission Oil Filter

NOTE: Replace transmission and hydraulic system filter elements after the first 100 hours of operation. Then replace after the first 500 hours of operation, and regularly every 500 hours thereafter.

1. Unscrew filter elements.

2. Coat seal rings of new filters with grease and screw in the filters.

   Use original John Deere filters only!

   IMPORTANT: Always replace both filters at the same time.

3. Run the engine briefly and operate several hydraulic functions. Shut off engine.

4. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes before checking the oil level. It should be between the marks on the sight-glass. If not, correct oil level.
