Change Transmission/Hydraulic Oil and Clean Intake Screen


Drain transmission/hydraulic oil

    A - Drain Screw in Differential Housing (50 N·m; 37 lb.-ft.)

    B - Drain Screw of the Front-Wheel Drive Clutch (50 N·m; 37 lb.-ft.)

    Start the engine and actuate a few hydraulic functions so that the oil heats up.



  2. Park tractor so that it is level. Lower draft links, front loader, front implements, and other implements that draw oil from the transmission.

  3. Shut off engine and withdraw ignition key.

  4. Engage park lock.

  5. Take out drain screws (A) and (B) and drain the oil into a suitable container. For capacities, see Specifications.

    After draining the oil, put new seal rings on drain screws (A) and (B) and tighten them.


Clean intake screen and change transmission/hydraulic oil

    Intake Screen

    A - Drain Plug (50 Nm; 37 lb.-ft.)

    B - Screw Plug (50 Nm; 37 lb.-ft.)

    C - Intake Screen

    Remove screw plug (B), pull out intake screen and wash in fuel. Clean the area where the intake screen is installed. Re-install the intake screen.



  2. Before refilling with fresh oil, replace seals and tighten drain screws to 50 Nm (37 lb.-ft.).

  3. Fill transmission/hydraulic oil into the transmission housing. For capacities, see Specifications.


Check the oil level

Run the engine briefly and operate several hydraulic functions. Stop engine.

Wait for 10 to 15 minutes before checking the oil level. It should be between the marks on the sight-glass. If not, correct oil level.
