A - Brake Pedals

B - Reverse Drive Lever

C - Park Lock Lever

CAUTION: Avoid injury due to losing control of tractor. Couple brake pedals1 (A) together when driving on roads.

NOTE: The foot brake may or may not have a steering brake.

  • With Steering Brake — Two Brake Pedals
  • Without Steering Brake — One Brake Pedal

NOTE: AutoClutch is an automatic clutch function that interrupts the flow of power between the engine and transmission when the foot brake is depressed. If the foot brake has a steering brake, both brake pedals must be depressed at the same time.

  1. Reduce throttle to low engine rpm.

    1. If AutoClutch is switched off, depress the foot brake and the clutch pedal. If the foot brake has a steering brake, both brake pedals must be depressed at the same time.

    2. If AutoClutch is switched on, depress the foot brake. If the foot brake has a steering brake, both brake pedals must be depressed at the same time. There is no need to depress the clutch pedal. The foot brake activates the AutoClutch function (automatic clutch function).

  2. Bring the tractor to a stop.

  3. Move the reverse drive lever (B) to its neutral position and use park lock lever (C) to engage park lock.

  4. Lower implements and shut off the rear PTO.

  5. Shut off engine and remove ignition key.

Stopping the tractor with AutoClutch

NOTE: AutoClutch is deactivated if the single-wheel brake is actuated and engine speed simultaneously is higher than approx. 900 rpm. This means: When one brake pedal is depressed for steering, the clutch is not activated as long as the engine speed is above 900 rpm.

Depress the foot brake. If the foot brake has a steering brake, both brake pedals must be depressed at the same time. The foot brake activates the AutoClutch. When the foot brake is released, tractor accelerates to preset speed again.

CAUTION: Avoid injury. Braking the tractor at high engine speed will require higher pedal force than braking the tractor at low engine speed.

Avoid injury due to sudden or unexpected acceleration. When foot brake is released, the tractor will automatically accelerate to the preselected speed.

Using NEUTRAL position

Transmission neutral position is obtained (with engine running) by shifting reverse drive lever (B) to neutral position. Tractor will roll freely in neutral position.

Using the park lock

CAUTION: Before leaving the tractor, always engage park lock (see arrow).

To hold the tractor stationary and prevent it from rolling away, use the lever (see arrow) to engage the park lock. Park lock must not be engaged until the tractor has come to a standstill. This keeps load on the transmission to a minimum.
