0 - Air-Conditioning System Off

1 - Dehumidify Air in Winter Conditions

2 - Cooling in Summer Conditions

Switch (A), three positions:

Function:

1 - Cactus

  • To dehumidify the air inside the cab. Use this setting to dry fogged up windows.
  • Turn knob (B) to the red zone.
  • Fan at setting 1 or higher.

When outside temperature is low and humidity is high, the warm, dry air prevents the windows from fogging up.

0 - Medium setting

Air-conditioning system OFF

2 - Snowflake

  • Use to cool down air inside cab when temperature is high.
  • Turn knob (B) to the blue zone (heater off).
  • Fan at setting 1 or higher.

Typically used in summer to cool the air inside the cab.

Turn on air-conditioning system at switch (A). Regulate the cooling effect at control (B). The cooling effect is increased by turning the knob further counterclockwise. Set the fan and louvers to the desired position.

IMPORTANT: Operate the air-conditioning system for a few minutes once a month. This ensures that refrigerant and refrigerant oil are mixed together, and helps to prevent faults.

    Effects of temperature outside cab:

  • Switch position 1 (cactus) - Air is dried regardless of temperature outside the cab (switch on heater).
  • Switch position 2 (snowflake) - Air-conditioning system has a cooling effect when temperature outside cab is over 18°C (64°F). At lower temperatures, no cooling effect is required. If windows are fogged up, see switch position 1.
