Greases for Air Temperature Ranges

IMPORTANT: For automated lubrication systems different ambient air temperatures need to be considered.

Use grease based on NLGI consistency numbers and the expected air temperature range during the service interval.

The following greases are preferred:

• John Deere MP Lithium Grease
• John Deere Grease-Gard™ Premium

The following greases are also recommended:

• John Deere HD Lithium Complex Grease
• John Deere Grease-Gard™ Premium Plus
• John Deere SD Polyurea Grease

Other greases may be used if they meet the following:

• NLGI Performance Classification GC-LB
• ISO-L-X-BCEB 2 or DIN K 2 K-10 Lithium, Non Synthetic Base Oil (100 to 220 mm²/s @40°C)

IMPORTANT: Some types of thickeners, base oils and additives used in greases are not compatible with others. Mixing greases should be avoided. Consult your grease supplier before mixing different types of grease.
