Adjustable Front Axle Type A - Tighten Axle Bolts and Wheel Bolts

CAUTION: Avoid personal injury. Never operate tractor with loose wheel bolts or axle components. Wheel bolts are critical and require retightening. Install wheels and ballast so periodic checking of the wheel bolts can be done easily.

A - Bolts of Adjustable Front Axle without Front-Wheel Drive

B - Standard Axle Wheel Disk-to-Hub Bolts

Tighten cap screws to specification.

Axle bolt torques:

Standard Adjustable Front Axle Bolts (A) 400 N·m (300 lb-ft)

Torque for wheel bolts on front axles without front-wheel drive:

Standard Axle Wheel Disk-to-Hub Bolts (B) 250 N·m (185 lb-ft)

Drive tractor 100 meters (100 yd), and retighten bolts to specified torque.

Retighten bolts after working 3 HOURS and again after 10 HOURS.
