Rear Hitch - Hitch Damping

IMPORTANT: The mass of the implement may be such that the implement moves up and down slightly even when the transport lock is on and hitch dampening is active.

Always raise the implement high enough to provide sufficient clearance between the implement and the road surface.

The tractor is equipped with a hitch damping function that prevents the tractor from pitching when traveling with a raised implement.

Activate damping

1. With engine running, first move the depth control lever to position 0 (A)

2. Then move the depth control lever all the way to the stop (beyond 0) into transport position (B) (padlock icon).

Deactivate damping

1. Move the depth control lever out of transport position (B) beyond 0 in the direction for lowering (1 - 9).

NOTE: Using the remote control and shutting off the engine both have the effect of switching off the hitch dampening function.

To re-activate the damping, move the depth control out of transport position while the engine is running and move it back to transport position again.
