Rear Hitch - Operation
IMPORTANT: Changes to hitch position are immediate.

LX234779-UN-25NOV15
A - Depth Control
B - Switch to "Raise" Hitch
C - Switch to "Lower" Hitch
D - Raise-Limit Control Knob
The hitch is operated with depth control (A) and switches (B)
and (C). The raise height is restricted with raise-limit control knob
(D).
To prepare the hitch for operation, start the engine and either:
-
move hitch control (A) to the position that corresponds to the
position of draft links,
-
move control lever (A) to one of the end positions, or
-
press switches (B) or (C).
Pull control (A) towards “0” to raise implement Push control (A) towards “9” to lower implement
With switches (B) and (C), the implement can be raised or lowered
independently from control (A) (e.g. to turn around
at end of field).
If switch (B) is pressed, the implement is raised until its
position corresponds to the position of raise-limit control knob (D).
If switch (C) is pressed, the implement is lowered until its
position corresponds to the position of the depth control (A).
To reach the operating depth faster in the compacted soil at
the headland (quick raise/lower), press and hold switch (C). As soon
as switch (C) is pressed, the set draft force is overridden. Once
switch (C) is released, the implement returns to the values specified
previously.
NOTE: The quick raise/lower function only works as long as the
vehicle is in motion.
CAUTION: Always engage the hitch lock before driving under load!
CAUTION: Danger of accidents resulting in severe injury and
property damage. When the transport lock is NOT activated,
implements might be lowered accidentally.
Load-change reactions might lead to critical driving situations.
When driving with raised implement and when not using the hitch,
ALWAYS activate the transport lock / damping.
