4000 Hour Service

CLEAN:

□  Clean the radiator, condenser, and area surrounding the engine

□  Service the fuel tank

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:

□  Access the diagnostic trouble codes and rectify fault. Then delete the diagnostic trouble codes

□  Check the movement inhibitor

□  PTO actuation - Check safety device

□  Fuse box - Visually inspect and clean

□  Check lights

□  Lights - Check settings of headlights

□  Check that all accessible ground cables are secure

CHECK SCREW TORQUES:

□  Wheels - Front and rear wheels

□  Wheels - Wheel disk on rim

□  Wheels - Wheel weights

□  Wheels - Dual wheel attachment

□  Adjustable front axle - Axle bolts

□  Swinging drawbar

□  Front hitch - Mounting frame

□  Front loader mounting frame

CHECK:

□  Engine - Check drive belt for wear (rubbing)

□  Coolant level

□  Air intake hoses - Check for leaks

□  Front-wheel drive axle - Axle housing, oil level

□  Front-wheel drive axle - Final drives without brake, oil level

□  Transmission/hydraulic system - Oil level

□  Check leak-off oil containers (if equipped)

□  Inspect seat belt for damage and ensure proper working order.

□  Cab - Check all rubber seals of the doors and windows as well as the cable feedthroughs for proper seating, wear, and brittleness.

□  Cab - Check function of all closing mechanisms of the doors and windows.

□  Brake system - Bleed and check

□  Foot brake - Operational check

□  Park lock - Operational check

□  All trailer hitches

CHANGE:

□  Fuel filter

□  Engine oil and engine oil filter²

□  Hydraulic oil filter

□  Transmission oil filter

□  Front PTO - Oil filter

□  Front-wheel drive axle - Final drives with brake, oil

□  Cab - Activated carbon filter (if equipped)4

LUBRICATE:

□  Front hitch - Cylinder and three-point hitch

□  Adjustable front axle - Lubrication points

□  Front-wheel drive axle - Pivot bearing

□  Front-wheel drive axle - All universal joints including universal-jointed shaft

□  Front axle suspension - Hydraulic cylinder

□  Pivoting fenders (only with two-piece front axle)

□  Lubricate universal-jointed shaft between engine and transmission (if equipped)

□  Three-point hitch - Lift links and rockshaft

□  Rear axle bearings

□  Rear PTO - PTO stub shaft support (PTO stub shaft, reversible)
