DEF Tank Vent - Check Filter

CAUTION: Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for a minimum of 15 minutes. Further information can be found in the safety data sheet.

IMPORTANT: When DEF comes into contact with any materials, immediately clean with water.

NOTE: When operating in a very dusty environment, check the tank vent filter occasionally for encrustation.

  1. If equipped, remove screws (A) and cover (B).

  2. Loosen filter (C) from bracket and move out to the side.

  3. Check filter (C) for encrustations. If necessary, unscrew and replace filter.

    NOTE: Screw in new filter finger-tight.

  4. For installation, reverse the removal procedure.
