Selective Control Valves - Disconnect Hydraulic Hoses

LX266990-UN-10OCT16
CAUTION: Risk of injury due to unintended movements of hydraulic
components. When working on pressurized hydraulic components,
there is a great risk that pressurized oil can eject and/or that unintended
movements of the implement are triggered.
To avoid this, the implement must be lowered to the ground before
disconnecting hydraulic hoses. The hoses and leads need to be depressurized
and the controls of the valves need to be blocked in neutral position.
-
Lower implement to ground.
-
Switch off the engine and engage the park
lock.
-
With the ignition on*, bring the selective control valves several
times into the "Extend" and "Retract" positions.
* Ignition is only necessary with electrically
actuated multi-function valves, e.g. the electric multi-function lever.
-
Activate the transport lock or detent the corresponding lever
in neutral position.
-
IMPORTANT: Do not apply force when disconnecting the hoses.
Pull hoses in a straight line out of connections, without jamming.
This can otherwise cause damage to the couplers.
Pull hoses straight out from couplers.
